Post highest ranked player who never reacht a maindraw

i was a little bit bord ans so i searcht the itf-database!

and i think the highest ranked player who never played a maindraw is -

Angelika Roesch (germany) ranked #204 !

i hope i didn´t forget any other player!

sassi(#167) from italy, hegedus(#181) from hungary and zaric(#185) from yugoslavia,dübbers(#199 from germany played 1 maindraw!
krejcova (#195) from czech rep. played 1 maindraw and this was 1993!!!!

WIDJAJA played 1 maindraw too, but she won this tourni (and she is young so she did´nt count!
and SU-WEI HSIEH played 1 and reacht the semi-final!

Something was bound to go right sometime today, All these broken pieces fit together to make a perfect picture of us
It got cold and then dark so suddenly and rained, It rained so hard the two of us were the only thing
That we could see for miles and miles
And in the middle of the flood I felt my worth, When you held onto me like I was your little life raft
Please know that you were mine as well
Drops of water hit the ground like God's own tears
And spread out into shapes like Salad bowls and basins and buckets for bailing out the flood

Update: Angelika is now #81 and I'm fairly certain she reached her first maindraw at Indian Wells last March.

Indian Wells Mar 10 2002
Qual 1 A Roesch - E Bes(5) 6-4 6-4
Qual 2 A Roesch - M Martinez(17) 6-4 6-4
1 J Nejedly - A Roesch-Q 6-4 7-5

She was in quite a few main draws in 2002 including early this week at GOld Coast where she lost to Mary Pierce in the first round.

Are you sure about it?

I think WIDJAJA has reached MD more than 1!

Angelika Roesch will play main draw at the GERMAN OPEN 2003 in Berlin, as the winner of the German Championships (Anca Barna) won't need that wild card, which she would have received as the German champion, so consequently it goes to the runner up.
