Ten double faults in a set-is that a record?

I'm not even kidding, is it?

This is really sad. I feel bad for Elena. It's one thing to have an Aniko Kapros style serve if you can get it in 70% of the time like Aniko does. Elena can't even put that thing in, and it's not exactly like she can take something off it

Kournikova must have had more when she double faulted 30-some times and still beat Saeki.

Kournikova played 3 sets so maybe it is a record?

It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile, winning's winning

think about it Anna K has 30+ DFs against Saeki, even if it even it out over three sets, it still beat Elena 10

Elena is a good player, but her second serve is freakin weak honestly. The reason she lost in N-100 coz Serena attacked her second serves, or else, she will not lost that bad.

I was watching the radar gun on TV at the Nasdaq-100, and Dementieva's 1st serves were coming in between 90-100 mph (when she got them in). That's fairly typical for the tour as a whole, but maybe not the top 10. Anyways, unless the rest of the tour mops up on her serve like Serena did, she's not goint to improve it. She's getting away with it right now and making good money!

PATHETIC: Still cant beleive Venus lost to this girl.

"I told her, `You don't want to get into a hitting battle with Sharapova, because it would be uneven for Sharapova, because Sharapova only has one good side and that's her backhand,"'. "`You don't want to get into that for the simple reason you would win. So try to hit some balls to her strong side, to her backhand, and that would help you with your match for tomorrow
