Don't forget the other old champ at the B&L event

The Great Conchi is still active in singles and will continue to frustrate journeymen and some higher ranked players with all of her spins, lobs and other assorted winning junk ball shots.

Who else can whip a top thirty player while taking a drag off a hand rolled Morrocan cigarette?

Moonball Momma Lina K took a set off Conchita in her 6-3 5-7 1-6 loss tonight. It appears that as the match progessed, Lina could not resist the temptation of moonball submission

I hate playing against crafty players I can't ever beat them. Those softer paced shots with a lot of spin drive me crazy. Give me a hard hitter any day. Good for Conchi, she'll be out there forever.

The Great Conchi is going for her 700th match win at this event.

Good luck, Conchi.
