Guillermo Coria=male version of MARTINA HINGIS

Discuss.

similarities: short, great backhand down the line, not a powerful but can hit any spot, brilliant rallier, great dropshot and anticipation, quick around the court, creative, petulant at times, charming, non-American, injury prone?

differences: hingis likes all surfaces, coria improving on all but still clearly better on clay

i dont think martina hingis was injury prone at all... just one big injury and she was out...

but yea-- other than that one, they are soooo similar.

they both have a menacing smile
hingis=chesgire cat

I was just thinking that watching Coria today. He can hit every SHOT in the book and palys a lot like Hingis! The only difference is that men can hold serve much easier than women...so Coria may be good on hardcourts just is weakened by his more weak serve.
