Actually, she's BETTER than most of the younger players, even now, and THAT'S part of why she's doing it. Nav, playing 15 events a year, would be a top hundred player easily, even now. That makes her better than 90% of the tour! If you're still in the top 10% of your sport, do you NEED to be retired?
I might be wrong, but I think this an attempt to qualify for the Olympics as she was not able to play in her era as tennis wasn't an Olympic sport them.
Of course not. Not with Venus, Serena, Lindsay, Chanda, Lisa Raymond and Jenn (if she's eligible) available to play. If she REALLY was motivated toplay inthe Olympics, she'd focus on doubles, where with the right partner, she could rack enough wins to actually make the team on merit.
