I love Elena but...

this match was a perfect example that the serve is a HUGE assest in the women's game right now if you want to win grand slam titles. And if Elena never improves her serve then I just see her hovering in the lower part of the top 10 the rest of her career...

here's hoping Olga Morazova does wonders for her serve because I do like watching Elena's groundstrokes they are beautiful to watch.

Congrats Serena BTW!

4- Time Olympic Medalist, 5-Time Fed Cup Winning Team, Inducted into Hall of Fame in 2007!!!

It's not just her serve. Her whole attitude stunk, and I hate her for that.
4 years ago she was fearless. Now she plays like a scared rabbit.
Pathetic and I hope she will leave the top 10 in the near future.

Isn't she the same everyone was hailing after her match against venus bout how good her groundies were and the return game too. I think the occassion got to her. Tis always difficult to do so well sometimes twice in a row, that's what seperates the top players from the rest.

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.
