The most lopsided Tier 1 final?

So a Serena coming from a six-month layoff squashes Elena D. 6/1 6/1. Yet another boring/disappointing WTA final. When will it stop

Now, is this the most lopsided or have any from the past compared?

Graf won the 88 French 6-0 6-0. But for a tier I it's probably the most lopsided.

It wouldn't have been the same score if Serena faced one of the Belgians or even Myskina. I'm not sure this tournament is a good indication of Serena's form as she didn't really play a top player, and she certainly didn't play someone who played well.

Mary beat ASV 6-1 6-0 to win the 2000 Family Circle Cup - it was a $1,000,000 tournament and I think a Tier 1.

WTA Championships 2003, Clijsters def. Mauresmo 6-2, 6-0. I thought that was one of the dullest finals ever, but today's topped it.

It's always sad when the losing player is actually quite brilliant, but does not allow herself to show it out there.

Not that bad to beat the world number 8, 23, 35, 42, and 73 when she is coming from a long lay off. Not too many players can comeback from an injury and go on to win the event.
Still a long way to go but sure this is good for Serena even losing today she showed she is still there, trying her best.
Can`t wait til Wimbledon to see her against Henin again

Serena's victory here reminds me of Monica's 1995 Toronto slash and burn, which was more incredible due to the 2 1/2 year layoff.
