The error on MP kind of sums it up, doesn't it?

:tape: Elizaveta was not having it today. Hsieh was much sharper today than she was against Minella, but Kulichkova really wasn't dealing with much well today.

Hsieh plays Doi for a spot in the final now. :cheer:

The crowd wasn't as annoying as it was yesterday at least. :oh:

Liza was waaay too off. Good for Hsieh's rankings!

This was just going to happen eventually. Kulichkova is a horrible messy player who wins matches when she finds threads of consistency. So when she dragged herself to the QF by virtue of her absolutely useless opponents who gave her the matches, the error floodgates were bound to open against a player who could actually rally.

Su-Wei :cheer:

I like the sound of this. A player with a brain lets a brainless one self-destruct. Good for Su-Wei, good for the tournament. :yeah:

You've must never have picked up a racket yourself, then.

Always good when smart player defeats one-dimensional brainless ball basher especially when it happens. That win surely tastes even sweeter for Su-Wei as it happened in front of her home crowd :)

Her ball striking ability is uncanny. You can't always tell that if you don't see her play in person. She hits the balls very early and flat so it's hard for her opponents to see where it is going. This is also her demise as she doesn't use top spins to keep a consistent rally. Her serves are her biggest issues! But when she is on, the winners are just spectacular.
