Bencic 3-0 vs Kerber now, 6-0 in sets

That was a smart play from BB. She saw that Angie backhand is the weakest link today and she used her chance. Also, she punished on Angie's 2nd serve many times.

Get some rest Angie. You seemed so tired and I'm still proud of you

Kerbs need to play like against Vika to beat Belinda, obviously she can't do that everyday.

Get some rest.

Swiss got this wrap up with legend in doubles against these no double specialist on the other side.

Flawless play by Belinda from baseline. Such a joy to watch. :hearts:
27 winners 16 unforced - the best statistics I have seen this Fed Cup I believe.

Angie
She needs to rest, almost no time between AO final and Fed Cup.

against Sharapova, Bencic could only hits 10 winners, and that was a longer match too. how in the hell did an Australian Open winner allowed her to produce so many winners? lol.

Angie was fatigued and had some niggles. Nothing serious, but enough to hamper her ground game in this match. Served well enough, but was clearly struggling from mid way through the first.

Good for Bencic. She absolutely peaked off the ground but her return was crap as usual.

so deserved for Belly, classy performance ! :worship: :inlove:

Angie fought hard and was tired as hell, but that's not the reason she lost it. Belly made her running and running again, a tactical masterstroke.

Angie  :smooch:  :smooch:  :smooch:

Biggest BS I read today  and I was already in the Immigration Thread
Angie was leaking UEs from midway first set because she couldn't endure the longer rallies. Her shot position was off, she couldn't go down to her BH stroke like she is used to and was clearly hampered by some minor injury.
A fresh Angie would have won in 2, no doubt.

Let's not forget, Angie had 4-1* 30-0 in the first set :wavey:

yeah, like she never will beat Azarenka...upps

I know right and people still bring up the fatigue factor :spit:
If Belinda ever fixes her return issues, she could reach the top. Congrats on a very good match today. :yeah: I loved how motivated she was, her attitude was great. :)
Keep trolling :wavey:

So when else are we gonna go with that if not right after winning a Slam? :spit: All kind of media BS around you 24/7. I am sure Serena fans have used this excuse plenty of times. So hypocritical.

I wanna see fully fit and rested Angie (like in AO) take on Belly. The result would never be NID. Like we saw with Guest.
