Talking Hyderabad Final: PRATT bts Maria Kirilenko 7-6(3), 6-1 FOR FIRST CAREER TITLE AT 30!!

Well you have to take ur to Nicole Pratt , she has really made the most of what her talent as taken her (Orasene Williams said she admired watching her), she was turned herself into an established WTA player with fitness work and improvements to her game.

At this tournament, she saved 2 match pts vs Bartoli in the semis , also had an impressive win vs Kostanic in the QF.

Congrats to the true Aussie battler on the circuit - Pratt, for ur first title!

Yes, this is her first title. She has had five titles on the ITF circuit and four WTA doubles titles.
I think she beats out Silvia Farina Elia for the oldest to get her first title. I think Silvia was 28yrs old when she got her first.

I am sad for Maria on losing the Indian Open final. But congrats to Nocole Pratt on finally winning her first WTA title. I'm sure experience played a crucial role in the outcome of this match.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

This is AWESOME! Last week Dupuis on the ATP-tour, this week Pratt on the WTA; it's great when people who have been around for years finally manage to clinch that title.

Big congrats to Nicole! I can't say I'm a huge fan, but her dedication and persistance is truly admirable. She must be feeling great right now! Good luck in qualis next week Maria and congrats on a nice tournament here.
