Has Leizel Huber Retired?

Two years ago I saw Leizel Huber play in the singles qualifying of the Pacific Life tournament. I believe she's from South Africa. At the time she was ranked #169. The current WTA rankings don't show her at all. Anyone know what happened to her - retired, injured?

She is this year Ai Sugiyama partner, isn't she .

She's ranked 11 in doubles this week.

She has retired from singles, and as maldoon said is a doubles specialist. Ranked 11 as Steveg said, and indeed partnering Sugiyama this year. Within the last year she's won 5 doubles titles, including Linz with Sugiyama and Miami and Warsaw with Maggie Maleeva. Most recently Huber/Sugiyama got to the SF of the Australian Open losing to Ruano Pascual/Suarez 6-4 7-6 i believe.

She is playing Hyderabad this week with young Indian WC Sania Mirza.
