Serena Returns to Action in Paris

It's on her official website, let's hope she won't pull out on the last minute.
Good luck Serena!
Serena Returns to Action in Paris

After missing half of last season and the first Grand Slam of the year following knee surgery, Serena will return to active competition at this year’s Open Gaz de France tournament in Paris. The tournament, which starts February 9th, will feature four of the top 10 women in the world.

In Last year’s Open Gaz de France, Serena rolled to victory without dropping a set, defeating Amelie Mauresmo in the final 6-3, 6-2. It was the second time in her illustrious career that Serena took home the title from Paris.

Serena’s last appearance on the WTA tour took place in the 2003 Wimbledon final, where she defeated sister, Venus, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

JUSTINE H-H: 39 WTA-titles and counting...!

Good luck to K-lina Sprem, Venus, Tati Golovin, Daniela, and Lena D

I'd been on the Gaz de France Open website, and she was on the commitments list, but this announcement from her official site makes me more confident, actually! Can't wait to see her back on court

Eurosport will cover the event from the Round of 16 - according to their website, the coverage starts at 4pm CET, Feb. 12th.

I can't wait to see Serena playing again- the tour just hasn't been the same. Maybe we'll get lucky and have a Kim/Serena final!

There is nothing more beautiful than Evonne Goolagong in full flight moving across a tennis court.
