Is this week the first time all TOP 3 are Europeans since Steffi's era?

there might be one occasion between 96-98....
but it seems to be the first European domination since Steffiv vs Arantxa?

Um Nathalie Tauziat was also ranked # 3 in the world at one point if I recall, shes french, give her credit

This was after WIMBLEDON right in 1998? Who was number 1 Hingis?
but Lindsay won the US OPEN that year so I think after that grand
slam it was 1) Hingis 2) Lindsay, 3) Jana....

Wasn't Monica listed as an AMERICAN?

Does anybody know?
