Well I'm sorry but I have yet to see a greater display of unfounded, unnecessary obnoxiousness than has been shown by Venus fans in the last month, so excuse my grin and severe lack of sympathy. :-)

Here's a shocker. This is a thread for Venus fans; and a hater shows up. Typical.

Why??
I'm depressed too, but I Havn't seen the match yet ...
Venus looked SOOO ready. She was (although she didn't play for 6mths) my nr1 fav to take this title.

But rather than this being a depressed thread, we should make this an encourage Venus thread (not that she will read this )

Come On Venus, learn from this. Take that diamond racket, that'll put you right back on track.
And maybe Venus *needs* SDerena by her side @ GS. So I'm wishing Serena returns quickly, too!!

I'm not hating on Venus. She didn't play that bad today, and was amazingly classy in her interview after the match.

But her fans, however....

Didn't see the press conference, but She sure showed class after the match, to Lisa, and waving to the crowd when leaving, some of the youngers players could learn a bit from that

I'm sorry but I fail to see the shame in losing this match. Could someone please point out to me how this lose takes away the fact that Venus is still one othe best players on tour?
