3 people to win the next grandslam after winning their first. I'm surprised more people haven't done it. On ESPN the other day, one of the commentators said during a Roddick match that no man had ever won the following grandslam after winning the first. So i didn't bother to check the men. But if I'm wrong and left someone out please let me know. I just though this was an interesting fact. By the way I couldn't find any grandslam information on Maureen Connelly, so she might have done it. Thanks.

I believe only one player in the Open Era won the MAJORITY of her first 14 Slams. (And there was Another Alltime great ALREADY AROUND when she arrived on tour).
