That wouldn't be a bad plan actually to have someone conduct interviews for the tour and post them - maybe start with the top players.

Bartoli - Broseghini
Molik - Tomek.
Kournikova - *Joey*
Na Li - Nole3333
Davenport - Dave.
Jie Zheng - louisa.

But feel free to write your own article Matt, or send to any other player you like - might be fun to do some of the lower ranked or lesser known players as well

Re: S5 Week 26, Guangzhou, CHN, International

An interview with Zheng Jie

What is your favorite part about playing in China?
I love the atmosphere. Because China is such a big country, so many people come out and support you no matter where it is your playing. I love the home crowd and it gives me great honour to represent my country.

How do you cope with having to defend all those points?
It is very difficult, as any player can take down another player at any tournament, so it is very unpredictable. Normally, I do not worry about defending my points, but rather I just focus on playing the best tennis I can.

You have a tough draw, with a potential Quarter-Final match up with the World Number 1 Hantuchova, and past US Open champion Clijsters right around the corne. In round 2 you face either Peer or Zvonareva what do you know about each player?
It is a tough draw indeed, there are some very tough players in my quarter. I haven't been playing too well in the past couple of tournaments so I hope to turn it around here. I am not phased by the fact that I may come up against the world number one or former USO champion. I just have to take it one match at a time.
Both Peer and Zvonareva are tough competitors and I look forward to playing either player in my second round match.

You've had a strong season winning the first tournament of the season what your best win of the season and your best win of your career?
I think my best win this season would have to be the quarter final win against Zvonareva in Montreal. I hadn't been playing too well in the weeks leading up to that tournament. It was a struggle, but finally being able to get that win and a semifinal birth really motivated me.
The best win of my career would definately have to be winning the Eastbourne tournament in Season 4. I defeated the former world number one and two on the way to the title and I'm very proud of that achievement.

What is your goal for the end of the season?
This season I would really love to make the year ending championships. I really need to knuckle down and work hard, and I hope my hard work pays off.

Re: S5 Week 26, Guangzhou, CHN, International

An interview with Li Na

Does playing in your home country or China, help your game or does the pressure make it tough for you to play?
Only help my game, play in home is fantastic, I know this court and I can show my countryman my best tennis.

Other than China, where is your favorite place to play?
I love play in USA, especially Miami and Indian Wells.

You had a solid run at most of the Grand Slams, including a Quarter-Final at the US Open, do you prefer the big stage?
Big stage is the one of the most reason why I play in tennis, challenges and rivalry is all what I need in this sport and personal life. So yes - Grand Slam is a perfect place for me.

What is your goal for the end of the season?
My goals for the end of the season is top five, maybe high, if I healthy everything will be possibly.
