Budapest, HUNGARY - After a bit of a rough last couple of weeks, World #18 Patty Schnyder is looking to get her year back on track. Her year has been decent if anything, which saw her stay in the Top 16 for the majority of the year until last week at Wimbledon where she was knocked out at the first hurdle by Russia's Anastasia Pavyluchenkova. "That was a tough loss for me, and it kind of told me to wake up and that if I wanted to get back to playing at a high level, I would have to start putting in the time." The winner of 3 OWTT titles (2 clay, 1 hard) has a tough road ahead with veteran Jill Craybas in the first round and if she wins #9 Venus Williams in the next. "My coach and I have been working on something new, we are not really expecting it to work quickly. If I lose early here, it will be fine but we are hoping that this strategy can help me rise back to the top of my game." The tournament is set to start tomorrow.
