Sam/Lisa - Dellacqua/Date-Krumm 1/6, 6/4, 6/10

What was that? Sam & Lisa not on court until 1/6, 0/4... I feared the worst! Was so delighted when they broke back to avoid the 0/6 & all of a sudden it was one way traffic the other way around. Sam & Lisa seemed to finally have found their rythm. Only to then lose this stupid Super Tie Break. I think this rule favours weaker teams & causes more upsets not saying that Date-Krumm/Dellacqua are a weak team or were the weaker in this match.

Pretty disappointed now as the next opponents would not have been (2) Hlavackova/Hradecka. They had a fab chance to reach the semis & maybe more...

Re: Sam/Lisa - Dellacqua/Date-Krumm 1/6, 6/4, 6/10

Such a disappointment! It seemed like both Sam and Lisa lost rhythm on their serves for the first set and a half! I was hopeful for the STB but unfortunately not meant to be and a missed opportunity to take advantage of some openings in the draw!

Hopefully they find their form in Miami!

OMG, it went that far??
I actually started to watch from super tiebreak so didn't know that...

Kimiko's half injured so if they are winning anyway, it was nicer to win in 2 straight sets.

BTW KDK and Raymonds encounter since 1995 was nice.
should be the longest record for not being played.

Casey may just be the next player to make the leap to elite doubles player, already with a mixed slam and two gs finalist positions. To think she only has one WTA doubles title with all of this, is shocking.

And anytime KDK wins I'm beaming!

I'm sure Sam's horrendous volleying played a huge part + the big r for Lisa being on mind.

Case and Kimilo should have been so much easier.

Su-wei/Shuai v Casey/Kimiko final would be GOAT

Sounds like Casey & KDK's pairing really working!!
And another winnable match next... Now I feel better about the loss to Lena, cause KDK can finally rest tomorrow.

3R with pusher style Woz could have kill half injured KDK...

Nice win for Kimiko & Casey, but I agree that the super tiebreak rule does mean that not always the best pair wins (I'm talking generally not specifically about this match here). The better team on the day will always win a third set but not necessarily a tiebreak..

I feel no advantage system is more floppy...
It's almost gamble on 40-40...it does make the match shorter but I bet most of the doubles specialists don't need that...
It's for someone who play both singles & doubles and you know WTA want to encourage that.

Very disappointed that Sam and Lisa couldn't pull off a famous win, but by all accounts the team that played better overall won the match, so well done Casey and Kimiko

Go on to win the whole thing now

Go Kimiko! Avenge your loss to Vesnina!

The team of Dellacqua/Date-Krumm does not lose. Ever.
