Super! Great tennis from both, they will be so dangerous this tournament. Both are in good form, should breeze.

Venus She looks in great shape, definitely MVP today. Kerber/Lisicki will be SOOOO tough, I worry. If Kerber/Lisicki come to play, we could be in for a scare if either WS starts slowly.

Great to get a hit with Kerber on grass before a possible singles match.

Where did you watch it? I'm suddenly realising that they probably have options of what you can watch on the digital stations!! Why did I not think of this earlier!? That damn German gymnast distracted me!!!

Did you watch it on tv?

That point to get the break for 3-1 in the 2nd set.... Venus was amaze in this match. Her athleticism up at net is simply insane.

Good win by Serenus. Vee looked good, same for Serena. My only issue was with Serena's backhand volley today.

Kerber/Lisicki could be an issue simply because they can hang with the WS from the back, but teams that beat the WS do it by being aggressive from the back and at net, which I don't think the Germans will bring to the table.

I don't think that Kerber/Lisicki are a very good doubles team, if Serena and Venus are in form, they should win. Lisicki has a big serve, but neither Lisicki, nor Kerber are very good at the net.
Sadly these two teams have to meet so early though :P

This was an enjoyable match and the crowd were great. Venus particularly played really well. Hope they get gold.
