The germans were a set and a break down before reeling off 4 straight games to take the second set then broke early in the 3rd set and helf it the entire way

That's a disgraceful performance from the Brits. Do British tennis players need to literally be handed a victory to actually win? The funny thing is, after they won the first set, my dad said "they'll probably lose from 61 50 up".

Thing is Sabs was clearly as shit as Angie in the first set, & she wasn't at the ceremony!

Well that went badly for the Brits. But seeing as this match was for the right to lose to Venus and Serena in round 2 I'm not too fussed.

No fan of Kerber but happy for Bine really Bine needs to focus on singles because she's capable of winning a medal if she brings her best game.
