Sad performance in the mixed doubles by the "favorites" Australia. Really expected more. Sori impressed me, never really saw her as a doubles player.

Sorana kicked ass. Carried Romania to this victory that said Stosur was pathetic.

I'm sorry, but how the fuck was Stosur #1 in doubles. Ever. Her reflexes are okay, but she has terrible hands at net. No idea where to put the ball, and even when she does she can't do it right. Really, no touch. Nothing.

Very disappointing, especially considering how good a doubles player Lleyton is.

Sorana was awesome. Her backhand drive volley was on song today.

Hewitt couldn't get a single backhand over the net. Sam is usually better than this, just really flat footed today.

Both Sorana's and Victor's volleys were so amazing to watch.

Why do you think?

Just joking. Sam is a tremendous doubles player but as we all know she can have days where she is just terrible. She can also have days where she is unstoppable.

Hewitt's were too. One of the best volleyers on the ATP IMO.

If she can, I'm yet to see it.

She's just got, for a one-time doubles #1, ridiculously bad touch and feel around the net. She's not a bad volleyer, but oh my god. It's like she's not comfortable up there. Especially in her singles matches, it's really exaggerated.

I guess I'm just pissed of Australia lost the tie.

Very good call on Hewitt's volleys. Too bad he lacks the pace to get up there as much as he could in singles.
