Well she'll turn 37 years old in September; she's not getting any younger and if she already gave what she had to give in this comeback which was been damn successful, we really can't complain Let's just hope she can improve from these results in the following tournaments; if not I hope she won't drag this situation for too long...
I don't understand why Hingis doesn't try a partnership with Timea Bacsinszky on the WTA tour. As a new team they did very well at the Olympics and they just kicked Kiki's a** at Fed Cup. They seem to have a good chemistry which is probably enhanced because both are Swiss.
Chan was the better player today, has to be said. Legend hardly produced any of her true level, makes me very sad. She's just so flat, doesn't seem to be enjoying herself much.
It's very strange. How could Hingis have been winning slams this time last year (AO) and suddenly declined in the last few months. A touch player like her should be able to last longer on tour. I think Sania and her were perfectly matched, and i think both declined a little last year. She needs a consistent power player like Safarova or Shvedova.

I really like this team but it certainly doesn't seem like a very lasting one. Every time I check the scores and see that Legend lost, I fear she's going to call it a day for once and for all
I've been thinking this for quite a long time now and I'm still convinced that her best chance after Mirza would be Shvedova. Yara's got the power and steadiness that Martina hasn't and she's proved to be successful with this type of player (couple of GS with King).
