Wonder if they do well in the YEC if Sania and Martina will get back together?
Peng would be good, can also see her going back to Sabine or Nastia P, maybe Belinda?
Hope Martina will find an appropriate partner! Want to see her for at least one more year.
Karolina Pliskova appears clueless most times in doubles matches. She serves well but it is Georges who leads the team. Pliskova does not volley well and she is not good at the net.
Martina has been playing with Vandeweghe. Wouldn't it be most likely they pair up next year? It'd sure benefit Coco a lot.
I'm not thinking Pliskova keeps playing doubles after this year necessarily, and I don't think she'd be a great partner for Hingis.
I've wanted to see Hingis/Mladenovic for a while now. I like the idea of her playing with Peng, too, but has Martina indicated she's chosen a permanent partner? She may bounce around with partners like she used to.
Vesnina doesnt need Mirza when she just won the Gold at the Olympics and the WTA YEC in Singapore with her regular partner...
and I edit myself just to add that Mirza doesnt need Vesnina either... they did well together, but Sania did an amazing end of the season with Barbora and I think they can do big things together. Maybe Barbora just needed the right partner to achieve big things and Sania could be that one
Hingis might play with Lisciki. Mirza needs better partner than Strycova.. Might be Garcia and Mirza can win AO 2017.. Bombs from Sani's FH and Garcia's BH + big serve of Garcia will be too tough for opponents to handle
I wasnt expecting this... they did well in Feb, some bad months later but they did again well at the end of the season... what happened? do we know if they found new partners and who they are??
Had a feeling this was the case re: MJMS and Dabrowski, too bad if true felt like they could have kept moving up this season especially now that Mariajo's ranking has moved up to reflect their year. I'll keep my fingers crossed Gaby finds a good solid partner (maybe Misa Krajicek after they just played in Toronto?).
