How can you edit an existing gif in CS4?

I am not sure if this works in CS4, but in CS3 you can open an existing gif by going to Import>Video frames to layers and then type: *.* and click enter. After you have done this all files should be able to be opened including gifs which will be opened exactly the same way the videos are

Re: Graphics questions, tips & tutorials

Medina Colouring: Exculsion Layer.

Okay Dudes and Duddetes (Andreas, dont get anrgy at me ), this is my second colouring tutorial, which i used not long ago. I had mixed opinions on it, as it could be a bit extreme in some images, but overall I liked it. Its an extremly easy tutorial, and is quick. Hope you enjoy.

Step 1: set your image, and crop, Sharpen, Blur. Whatever, im not focusing on this, as i revealed my secret to sharpening not long ago.

step 2: Channel Mixer

red: 150, -40, -22
Green: 0, 71, 35
Blue: -9, 10, 110

Step 3: Selective Colouring

This really depends on the picture you were working on, you need to watch out for the reds, it can come across to harsh for the skin on many pictures, if it is, ignore the reds.

red: -10, 10, 10, 10
Yellows: 0, 0, 0, 0
Greens: 100, 0, 100, 0
Cyans: 100, 0, 100, 0
Blues: 100, 0, 100, 0
Mangetas: 0, 72, 0, 100
Whites: 16, -100, -100, -100
Neutrals: 0, 0, 0, 0
Blacks, 0, 0, 0, 10

Step 3: [If you worked with asjustment layers, merge all down [shift+ctrl+e]]. Duplicate layer, and set to exculsion, with the opacity between 20-30, depending on the picture [We dont want the picture to be two washed out, so use a number that is reasonable]

step 4: merge down [Ctrl+e].

Step 5: Levels

23, 1.35, 255

Step 6: Hue/Saturation

Master: 0, 10, 0
