IK
People seem to constantly play her badly... I would just hit tonnes of angles and come into net but obviously some players don't use their brains She doesn't even get that good depth

Yeah, especially at the moment...you're right, that's what players should do. Cetkovska had a dreadful loss to her today.

IK it was horrible
Hopefully Serena Zhangatang will destroy her again Or someone before her She is just the most awkward player

Serena destroyed her once again.

Besides that horrible loss though, Richel is in good form. I'd love her to break the top 100.

Re: Richel Hogenkamp

Richel arrived in Osaka a few days ago to play Q for the WTA tournament there and she won her first round 60 76(5) against Junri Namigata

She won matches at all of her Asian stops, that's a good thing already. Namigata actually won 3 points more in the 2nd set but still lost it I got a bit nervous in the TB though, Richel was up 3-0, then down 3-5, then won it 7-5. Q2 vs. Rodionova, will be a good test.

Rest in Peace Elena Baltacha <3

No, she is going back home. She is on the EL for 100k Poitiers and possibly 50k+H Nantes as well.

That will be a good test for her Those challengers in France have quite strong EL I think.

She is not even in Q for Poitiers, that is how strong it is At least she is going back to NL and then play some tourneys in Europe I expect

Re: Richel Hogenkamp

She lost in QR2 after a bye to Teodora Mircic 46 06

Bad loss, wonder how she explains that.

Mircic can be dangerous as seen in Johannesburg earlier this year

Yeah I know
Next tournament

I think it would be wise for her to travel out of Europe again and play some weaker tournaments to get her confidence and ranking up a bit Like the Australain 25s and 50s for example Would have been Top Seed
