Re: Richel Hogenkamp

That's a shame but Olivia is a good player.

Does anyone know if Richel has any more tournaments coming up?

Good luck in doubles today Richel/Nicolette.

Re: Richel Hogenkamp

They lost 2-6 2-6. She's flying back to Holland tomorrow. She's talking about training for a few weeks (probably) and then either 2 junior tournaments in the USA (I guess Eddie Herr & Orange Bowl?) or a senior tournament in Italy (Ortisei 100k? )

Shame about the loss, think they could be a good doubles team. I think would be good for her to go to the 2 junior tournaments in the USA

Re: Richel Hogenkamp

She will play 3 25K tournaments in Australia. Esperance 16 Nov, Kalgoorlie 23 Nov, Bendigo 30 Nov.

She said also she's going to Turkey next week but maybe only for training/holiday? Because she's not on any ELs.

OMFG.... you are shitting me. Bendigo is like just over an hours drive from where I used to live in Oz... I so would have gone!

Tournaments are good, will be interesting how she does, as I persume these are practice for the Australian Open and other Aussie tournaments in New Year?

Think it is a holiday.

Was rather quiet on the message board!

Re: Richel Hogenkamp

The entry list for 25k Esperance (AUS) is out (16 Nov). At the moment she is in the nr 47 in the qualies list. The WD deadline is 3 November, so she will surely move up some places. It looks like Nicolette and Angelique will be joining her on this Australian trip. Both have this tournament also as their P1.

Really interesting how she will do here. Three 25k tournaments in a row. If she does well, she could move up the rankings. I think these tournaments are a good choice from her and it would be a good experience

Re: Richel Hogenkamp

yes i agree will be really interesting the tournaments coming up.

Will Richel be doing the Orange Bowl in USA in December?

I am guessing she will continue doing the 'big' junior tournaments i.e. grand slams + orange bowl, same as Laura Robson is doing.

Re: Richel Hogenkamp

Cool that Nicolette and Angelique are joining her Nice points up for grabs since Aussie tournaments aren't that strong usually.
