Hello! I finally remembered the name of this player I saw in the Orange Bowl last year  :spit:

Her name is Lesley Kerkhove. I was pretty impressed from what I saw. Big groundstrokes and a big serve. Needs a bit of consistency. I don't really know what potential she has but didn't see a cheering thread for her so here it is! :hearts:

Lesley lost 36 16 in the QF of 25k Altenkirchen, she didn't play that well throughout the week with tough wins over Ozgen and Kalinina but still managed to get victories :)

This week she's playing 50k Saint-Petersburg and she beat Marta Sirotkina 36 64 62 which is a good win for sure :) Again losing the first set though

Lesley beat Kania last week in Palm Harbour (good win!) after considerable deficits and lost a close match to Haddad Maia.

This week she's playing Q at the strongest itf in the USA and she beat Petra Rampre 75 75 in Q1 :) Next match against talent Naomi Osaka.

Not a great start...but I guess she'll be playing many tournaments now. :)

Lesley is playing 50k Tunis, beat the returning Heidi El Tabakh 61 57 62 in R1 :)

It was the 1st match for Heidi since November
Lesley defeated Minella in 3 sets and is now in the QF :yeah: Kostova up next!

Angstgegner? You mean the 1-4 H2H?
That doesn't make sense to me. First off, most of the matches are from a few years back and the matches on clay were all really close. Also she won the last one!
I'd say she has a good chance.

Edit: she also beat Kostova in doubles :)

Lost to Irigoyen 2-6 6-4 2-6

Good week for Lesley with a SF in singles & doubles :)

I believe the cutoff is next week :) And she'll be around 200, should be enough. (Wimbledon cutoff is usually a bit easier than RG due to ITF clay lovers skipping it)
