haloo! i need some help in italian, please!

there is a beautiful song by carmen consoli
it's called "in bianco e nero"
i really love this song - but i don't know what the lyrics are!
i understood that it's about the singer and the way she feels about her mom, years after.
the black and white photos that reflect her life and such
please translate it for me! i'll be grateful forever!
In Bianco E Nero

Guardo una foto di mia madre
era felice avrà avuto tre anni
stringeva al petto una bambola
il regalo più ambito
Era la festa del suo compleanno
un bianco e nero sbiadito
Guardo mia madre a quei tempi e rivedo
il mio stesso sorriso

E pensare a quante volte
l'ho sentita lontana
E pensare a quante volte…

Le avrei voluto parlare di me
chiederle almeno il perché
dei lunghi ed ostili silenzi
e momenti di noncuranza
puntualmente mi dimostravo inflessibile
inaccessibile e fiera
intimamente agguerrita

E pensare a quante volte
l'ho sentita lontana
E pensare a quante volte…

Le avrei voluto parlare di me
chiederle almeno il perché
dei lunghi ed ostili silenzi
e di quella arbitraria indolenza
puntualmente mi dimostravo inflessibile
inaccessibile e fiera
intimamente agguerrita temendo
l'innata rivalità

Le avrei voluto parlare di me
chiederle almeno il perché……
Le avrei voluto parlare di me
chiederle almeno il perché ……

thanks in advance!
go italian girls! (esppecially silvia and flavia!)

if you have nothing important to say, please do so in non-tennis forum. if you have something you think is important, but is actually rubbish regarding anything other than tennis - please do so in the non-tennis forum. if you have something tennis related to say, but it's actually "OMG, X player is so h0t!1" or "who has the biggest boobs on the wtatour" please do so in menstennisforum, under "wta forum". if you have something important, tennis-related and interesting to say please do so. No one in the world can understand how much tennis means to someone, except another fan.

Ok I'll try to translate, but my english isn't very good...
If there are parts that you can't understand, I'll try to explain them better...
Obviously, the song in Italian is far much better than my translation, I like it very much too...
-------------------------------------
In black and white

I look at a photo of my mum,
she was happy, could have had three years,
she was hugging to her chest a doll,
her most desired present…
It was the day of her birthday,
a faded black and white…
I look at my mum in that time and I see
the same smile as mine

And I think at how many times
I felt her far form me
and I think at how many times…

I would have told her about myself,
I would have asked, at least, the reason
of her long and hostile silences
and of her carelessness
Every time I showed myself as inflexible,
unapproachable, too proud,
and hardened, because I was
scared of this silly rivalry

I look at a photo of my mum,
she was happy, could have been in her 20ies,
a silky foulard covered her hair
and she had a vanished expression.
It was an image of 1960s
In a shining Catania [it’s an Italian town]
I look at her intently, in a careful way, and I recognize
the same glance as mine

And I think at how many times
I felt her far form me
and I think at how many times…

I would have told her about myself,
I would have asked, at least, the reason
of her long and hostile silences
and of her carelessness
Every time I showed myself as inflexible,
unapproachable, too proud,
and hardened, because I was
scared of this silly rivalry

I would have told her about myself,
I would have asked, at least, the reason…
I would have told her about myself,
I would have asked, at least, the reason…
