Re: Ranking Watch

Given Caro's luck with the draws (She has been getting the draws that Pova used to get, filled with her pigeons), she will get Svetlana in her half, where as Vee will have to deal with Henin/Pennetta/Kim/Jankovic. I Just hope she has a good clay court season, the ranking will follow

Re: Ranking Watch

thing is...
I'd rather her play Stuttgart than Rome/Madrid...
I guess because its Indoor...

I remember a few years ago that Justine won't play Beijing because of the pollution...
I'm guessing she wouldnt get to play any clay tournaments after all...

"eek:

Zverev Venus Nadal Edmund
Goffin Zverev
Zverev Rublev Fritz Coric
Thiem Zverev

Re: Ranking Watch

Damn Vwfan u are fast.... I was rushing to ask the same thing. SAFINA is like 100 points ahead of Venus on The Boiled Egg's list, i guess that's for this week right? So Venus stays at number 4?

not next week, but the following week Rome points will come off and Dinara won and Venus SF. So if Venus defends her points, the chances are that Dinara won't win and therefore Venus has a chance to get to #3 after Rome.
if Venus had Dinara's draw as the #3 seed at Rome it would be great--opposite side from Serena and a Dementieva QF, and Caro/Woz SF.
all well, she's got to beat whoever is on the other side anyway.

yep.
JJ is useless. plays the tennis of her life against Venus and then turns over and let's JH spank her 10 straight times.

Anyway, Venus can get back to #1 in the Race IF she goes further than Serena in Rome.
