Re: ***Eleven Museum***

I am still pressed that we couldn't see Wimbledon 2013 in action. Anyway, GREAT job @TPlaya8 !

Thanks for making this thread!
I was just about to say that 2010 - 2011 was her trash period
I love her Wimbledon 2008 - YEC 2009 stuff, though. (I don't dislike AO 2010, however).
For me, things started to pick up again after she came back from her Sjogren's layoff.
Since then (with a few boring periods when she wouldn't stop with the floral prints; but they were still nice).

(Awesome thread, btw, @TPlaya8 )

Re: ***Eleven Museum***

The first line was really nice but she wore that style for too long!

'O8 Miami -2010 Aussie was cool. I even liked the Moulin Rouge dresses!

That Jumper at Wimbledon had to be the worst thing ever...maybe on topped by that lace!

2012 through 2014 were consistent, 2013-2014 were probably peak designs! (2014 floral was the weakest design followed by 2012 Floral/2013 Miami).

2015 was okay that Miami Print was definitely in her top tier of designs! (I also feel like something must have happened with Eleven production that year cause remember after Wimbledon we saw the designs for the next 2 lines but she wore 1 at the US Open but didn't wear the 2nd one until Aussie 2016. She also back to the Clay court line for the summer hardcourt when she usually has a Summer Hardcourt then a different US Open Line. Plus she had like 8 or 9 lines last year!

2012 is number one for me, followed by 2014.

Re: ***Eleven Museum***

Before my thoughts below I am curious, do yall prefer her in an outfit that is tight on the bottom or that is more flow/dress like? Example would be 2015 Miami which was tight vs 2016 FO which flowed out more or like her skirts that are like that traditional lose fit? With her long legs she can really pull any of them off and I like both at different times! So was curious to poll yall?

My thoughts:

2007 USOpen debut, the collar with the cute short sleeve or even the sleeveless/dress one, they all were perfect color and style and fitting for her! Really liked those!

The Wimbledon 2008 goddess dress is so pretty on her, just accents her body well with the peek-a-boo hole. and her hair I thought went well with it, too.

2009 French open I loved! The white on top with the really cool green, blue, black, yellow stripes/tie die I thought just looked so cool. Even my dad who could care less about this shit was like oooo I like that one!

2010 was just so much fun!! All the illusion outfits, especially the AO one “showing” the cleavage with the slits. Then the FO dress got SO much publicity and was so risky! Wimbledon was cool too with the frizz on the bottom. And then all of her USO dresses I thought were fun and stood out! This whole year she just got so much attention for her outfits because they were either really cool, sexy, or different (but not like Wonderland weird different). Usually Serena’s the one who gets all that attention so it was fun to have Vee talked about in that way for a year.

Then shit started to either fall apart in 2011 hahaha. Just an awkward year of outfits in my opinion.

You could tell she refocused in 2012 getting back to a more relatable line, probably so she could start actually selling to everyday tennis players. But, still making outfits that were different and thought provoked. Liked her Olympic outfit a lot that year.

The fade of color at the AO in 2013 was pretty. Matched the court and her different tops well.

Then 2014 AO was the next one I liked esp with the hair! But, got more face time with her Dubai outfit which was also nice form fitting (this is another example of a tight dress that I was asking about above). Really liked her bank of the west outfit the grey with the blue in the back.

2015 Miami’s was cool and colorful! 2016 AO was good but like 2014 didn’t stick around long enough. USO was pretty fall like colors.

This year (2017) her early round AO dress was on point. My mom bought that visor, the colors are so pretty with the purple, yellow, blue mixed in.

Keep em coming, Vee!!
