Excuse me sis? I came for you for that uncompleted thread you put up. Do not forget you edited it after. Mine was ready at launch. Don't make me wreck my nails now.
Her serve usually turns around during the hard court season. I think Richard seemed fine on Serena's snapchat. Besides, she can't miss the opportunity to show her frontrunner dress is for this US Open Series.

It's the lesser Pliskbot though. That's a pretty good draw. Most of the tricky bitches are on the other side.
If she wins the event, she can get as high as #11 in the race (effectively #10 because of Guest pregnancy). I'm really liking her chances to end the year Top 10 and hopefully she gets back to where she belongs at the end of the year (Singapore). Between Stanford, Montreal, USO, Wuhan, and Beijing (Is she playing a MM somewhere too?). Every single one of those tournaments play to her strengths. All those courts are pretty fast. Montreal is probably the slowest but obviously she made a Final there. Hopefully she can get that serve popping because it was almost non-existent at SW19. It's amazing she grinded her way to the SF without it.
Good luck Venus!
Draw is not bad but the break Venus had after Wimbledon was quite short, so I am not sure how much energy Venus has left for Stanford, I don´t expect her to play on a high level here to be honest but some wins are definitely possible, we´ll see how it goes!
This draw. Not expecting anything less than a SF from Venus. She has served some brutal matches in these courts (Dementieva/Sharapova from the top of my head). First time in a long while that Venus has to play "only" four matches to win the title. Get 'em, Queen.
Only four matches needed for the title on these fast courts, yesssssss. Dangerous opponents are Coco and Domi, but she can handle them both. Hopefully she'll be riding on a wave of confidence after another successful wimbledon. Get that title queen and your #6 seed for the US OPEN (where she will go very deep).
It's not an easy draw but it's not a brutal draw either. I think her form will determine how deep on a run she can make. Hopefully the turn around from Wimbledon isn't too bad. She seemed hungry for more after Wimbledon which is a good sign.
