This is not the whole article, but here is the part where Lleyton speaks about Kim.

Just Hewitt/ By Micki Sagih

... One of Hewitt's biggest loves, exept Clijsters of course, is sports. Lleyton says that he is a sport nut and that he does sport or talks about it all day: "I simpy can't go without it. I'm addicted to that thing called sport. Every spare moment I have I change the chanels on the TV to find sports to watch".
On the web site of one of Hewitt's fans (and there are many of them), there is an official response of the girlfriend, Kim: "I'm trying to get him out of it. He's just addicted to sports. When I'm sick of his madness to sports and I want him to concentrate on me, I tell him that if he continues to see sports he will lose in the first round of his next tournament".
Clijsters tells that she enjoys to play golf with her boyfriend, because of the slow nature of this game, that demands a lot of walking in which they can spend time together. Clijsters also says that Hewitt is a warm person, that takes care of her, reliable and kind.

... When Hewitt returns to Adelaide he will be welcomed by a big rally of his many fans, and especialy his female fans that floded every possible Australian web site with generous wedding offers to the new idol.
On that says the new star: "I'LL NOT LIE, IT'S OBVIOUS THAT EVERY GUY MY AGE ENOYS THE FACT THAT MANY GIRLS WANT TO BE WITH HIM AND ALL MY FRIEND ARE JEALOUS. BUT AT THE MOMENT I'M HAPPY TO HAVE A GIRLFRIEND THAT I LOVE".

I hope you'll enjoy this part of the article !!!

Wink Thanks !!

Oh yes i really enjoyed it, how sweet !!
They're such a sweet young couple and they don't care about the things that other people think, they are so "natural"! And that's one of the things that i like so much about them !!!

Thanks for the article, Lleykimmy1, although one remark though.

This article was posted in the lounge some time ago, we have discussed it at that time.

Several posters, I was one of them, had some serious questions re this article, esp. certain quotes in it; see thread started by Karenrac, http://www.wtaworld.com/showthread.php?threadid=31382

It says that Kim's response was posted on a fansite...how funny would it be if this whole article was just something that a fan made up as a joke and the media printed it?!

Lleyton was just on the Footy Show. They tried to get him to announce his engagement to Kim. Lleyton's response: "not tonight, mate"

Well

untitled - It wouldn't be the first time; I remember a few years back someone made up an interview with Mariah Carey where she said some ridiculous quote about being jealous of starving kids, and the "real" media picked it up. So much for journalism

I don't know if it was a joke that was then taken seriously by the writer of this article. Anyway, most of what's in there is very doubtful. Looks like the writer has been using stuff from here and there that wasn't even reliable, imo.

And just for the record: Kim has NEVER directly "talked" to a fansite, so a so-called official answer is totally NONSENSE.

So please, don't use the quotes from that article, not even Lleyton's, as some stuff in there is false, and other quotes are doubtful, to say the least. The journalist better should have done a real interview with Kim/Lleyton, instead of scraping stuff together that is even not correct. And if he can't get an interview (very likely) his newspaper could still buy another article after all. Too much asked, I reckon. So he just fills a page, pffff.

Karenrac, if you read this: it seems that you have deleted your previous thread re this article, isn't it? too bad, though, we had all the reasons in there why the content of the article is doubtful.

But thanks again for bringing this article up (and doing the translation work, thanks!)!

It's a must see for fans!

They bugged him with the same question last year LOL. The poor guy, they need to get married to get rid of the question !

If you want to see his interview in which he mentions Kim too: go to MSN Australia website, then Sports, click AFL Footy Show, then Video fault, and click on Lleyton's image.

If you'd like to watch Lleyton's appearance on the show from last year, then browse further through these video archives 'til you see another Lleyton image, click on that.

Talking Article on Kim & Lleyton

In the January edition of the Australian Tennis Magazine, there was a page long article of Kim and Lleyton.

Here it is...

Playing For Keeps

Some describe the Kim Clijsters-Lleyton Hewitt partnership as a case of opposites attracting. Yet they couldn't be more alike in their passion for winning - as respective victories at the prestigious season - ending championships testify.

There’s been as much said about Kim Clijsters differences to Lleyton Hewitt than there has been about her similarities. He’s sharp and serious; she’s sweet and smiling. He’s a behind-closed-doors man, while she’s happy to chat with anybody. She’s on of the strongest players on the WTA tour, capable of out hitting her most powerful competitors. He has to rely on the speediest kegs in the game to compensate for being one of the little guys.

Yet all their differences there’s on standout quality they share – a passion for winning. And never has that been more on display than the end of 2002, when they each nabbed the respective season ending titles to achieve new milestones in their careers.

For 19 year old Clijsters, taking out the Tour Championships in Los Angeles, where she upset Serena Williams in the final and an injured Venus in the semis, was the biggest occasion of her career an marked a new level of competitiveness.

“I think Venus and Serena have played so well these last few years,” she said. “I think it’s nice for the other players to see that they are beatable and I think that will motive also some other players.”

“It’s obviously the biggest moment in her tennis career so far and to beat the Williams sisters back to back, its not something that a lot of players can say they’ve done,” said a proud Hewitt. “She’s got a good chance to go even higher in the rankings, I believe.”

When they’re not winning tournaments, Hewitt and Clijsters defy logistics and distance by spending, as many non-playing moments together as possible – which highlights the fact they’re as serious about each other as they are about their games.

After winning in Los Angeles, Clijsters made a quick trip to Belgium before jumping on a plane to Singapore, where she spent 12 hours twiddling her thumbs before Hewitt flew in from China and they traveled to Australia together. Then there were a couple of charity appearances before Hewitt and Clijsters settled down for a well-earned break in Queensland, helping recharge the batteries before the serious training begins again.

And the most successful couple on tour will no doubt be feeing of each other’s passion for a major in Melbourne.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This article was accompanied with a pic of Kim & Lleyton at the Wimbledon ball this year.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's also a section at the front of the mag called "you cannot be serious", its just got quotes that players said...

In this mag there was one of Kim's quotes accompanied by the picture of her in the sexy black dress (sorry but I don't know where it's from though, but it has been posted here).

[B]“ I had a few experiences, maybe not with my own game, but when Lleyton won Wimbledon and the US Open, that was amazing. I felt like I won them as well.”[B/]– Kim Clijsters on life with a World No.1 boyfriend.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One last thing from the mag, its from like the pre Australian Open section, its just review the players, and for Kim it says...

The Challengers (Jennifer Capriati's also on this page with Kim)
2002 champ Jennifer Capriati will be hoping for a return to her best in Melbourne, but Kim Clijsters, who finished 2002 with a career-high No. 4 ranking, couldn't hope for a better place to win her first Slam than her boyfriend's favourite tournament.

Kim Clijsters (BEL)
Ranked 4
Age: 19
Height: 174cm
Wight: 68kg
Gran Slam Titles : 0
Career titles: 10 singles, 4 double
Plays: Right Handed
Turned pro: 1997
Best Australian Open Result: Semi-final 2002
Career prizemoney : US$3, 649, 280

2002 in review: Won four titles, including the season-ending WTA Champoinship. Was a semi finalist at the Ausrtalian Open. Reached a career-high ranking of World No. 3 in March.

Strength: Backhand. Can hit winners from anywhere.
Weakness: Forhand. Breaks down under pressure.
Chances: Outside chance. Battled a shoulder injury for most of last year. Still has a lot of improbement in her. If she can put it all together like she did against Serena in the Championships, she's a likely Grand Slam winner in the future.
