Miami 2011

Kim has a bye in the first round and will play Alla Kudryavtseva or a qualifier in Round 2. Possible R4 against Ana Ivanovic ...

The rest of the draw can be found here : http://www.sonyericssonopen.com/~/me...3B8AB58C4.ashx

Hope that Kim's shoulder gets better !

Re: Miami 2011

I think she did. But like I said in the GM, I definitely think Kim is off with this one, with her fears being really exacerbated by the media and being a mother. But it's ridiculous to accuse Kim of not caring about Asia, she has always cared about regions that have experienced disasters and has donated money as well. So while her reasoning about radiation is definitely wacko, she still cares about the problems in Japan and has done stuff to help and shouldn't be criticized for that.

Nice and easy win for Kim Just what she needed, a quick straight set victory. More time to rest her shoulder.

This is disappointing to hear from Kim - not her finest hour. All the other top players are reserving judgment until nearer the time, so this is silly fear mongering stuff from Kim, especially if she was never going to play there anyway!

Patiently waiting to join the silver surfers
