A Miracle perhaps? ( for the Lleykies)

You know how Lleyton never talks about Kim? Well surprise surprise, here's a quote from him It's from a Q & A session yesterday in Toronto It's nothing too personal or too sweet but hey, it's something

On whether it's hard to keep his relationship going with women's tennis star Kim Clijsters because they both travel so much, he responded: "Yeah, it's tough. But we try to play as many tournaments as we can together. And then we have weeks off. In one way it's easy because we both know the pressure of being in the top five in the world at such a young age."

Thanks Angel! Here's what I think about Lleyton not talking about Kim.

First of all he doesn't hide the fact that he loves her and that she's his girlfriend. I mean everytime he wins a big tourney he runs to kiss her. I thought it was awfully cute the way he took the first flight out of Barca to be with Kim at the fed cup against Australia and the way he stayed back in Paris to be by her side last year. That says a lot to me about what she means to him. He doesn't have to express it in so many words. I don't think... Actions speak louder than words sometimes.

Secondly, I can only imagine what kind of stories the press would come up with if he starts discussing their relationship. I mean they already make up stories of marraige, kids and engagement as it is.

And finally, they're both sort of celebs in a way and that makes it more difficult. If they talk about their relationship the press will project them as the "IT" couple. And then they'll have the paparazzi following them and I don't think Lleyton wants that. Also they'll make themselves open for public scrutiny as a couple.

I personally think he's doing the right thing by keeping a low profile. (One of the reasons I love Lleyton is 'cause he values his privacy and knows what matters to him in life - Kim and his family and friends) That way they can really do whatever they want and whenever they want. Press in Belgium seems to leave them alone, but that's not gonna happen eveywhere. Remember the pics right after wimbledon when they were leaving for Belgium? They were clearly paparazzi pics. I don't think Lleyton and Kim knew they were being photographed. Here in the US, lot of celeb couples discuss how they're in love and how they have the best marraige/relationship and ultimately when they break up, they say it was because of the public scrutiny and the pressures from the media.

Incidentally, today is the 2nd year anniversary of my other fav. couple- Brad Pitt and Jen Aniston. They remind me of Lleyton and Kim sometimes. The only difference is that they're older and married. But I mean they try and keep a low profile as much as possible. They do what they like and don't discuss their marraige a whole lot. But you can just tell that they are in love just like Lleyton and Kim. Jen discusses it sometimes like Kim but Brad hardly does(LOL! just like Lleyton). I like it that way. It'll help Lleyton and Kim have a normal, stable and loving relationship without any outside interference.

I don't care if they don't talk about it. I just want them to be happy and in love with each other forever. Of course as a Lleyki, I must admit I always look for any new pics, articles or even a tidbit about them. And I love it if and when they do talk about each other but still its good that they don't go overborad with the mushy details...

I think I've said enough for now. Sorry for a really long post. Any thoughts?

OK, I watched Kim's finals against V. Williams and Mary Joe was doing the commentary with some guy. They were talking about Kim being in stanford without a coach and the guy was like, she has a pretty good hitting partner though doesn't she? And then Mary Joe was like "Aw, someone by the name of Lleyton Hewitt, who knows a thing or two about tennis. He's been hitting with her all week."

Also, during Kim's match against Monica at the TMS Miami in march this year, Mary Joe and Pam talked about Lleyton being at Kim's matches to support her and Mary Joe said, " I just love the way they support each other. If they're not playing they do not miss each other's matches. Its great"

Mary Joe loves Lleyton and Kim too. May be not as much as us Lleykis but still...

And finally, I don't know if anyone had a chance to see Kim play Lindsay on saturday evening but they showed some footage before the finals with Venus. And after Kim won she pointed at someone in the audience and smiled. You know how Lleyton points at his box after his wins. It was very similar. I thought it was cute. And if Lleyton was really there then I'm assuming she pointed at him.

lleytnkim!! I totally 100% agree with everything you just said!! You seem to think exactly like me And you sound gooberish, just like me

And re the looking up in the stands thing, here's a pic from Yahoo with the caption:

Tnanks Angele! Actually the gesture Kim did was something I've never seen her do before. It was something like this......
(Only this one is during the match and Lleyton looks a bit intense. She did it after she won, so she smiled and then pointed at someone. I'm assuming Lleyton since he stayed with her for the semis on saturday. )

Lol! I know I sometimes sound gooberish but I'm no threat to your throne. You're the Ultimate Queen!

Also, do you reckon Lleyton will fly to San diego to be with Kim, I really do. Lleyton has almost entire week off and he can leave for Cincy on thursday or friday. I'm sure he'll want to spend the next 2-3 days with Kim. Every time either of them looses early that's what they both do. Don't they? Hope the parents don't show up soon. I've a bad feeling they'll be at least at the US Open. Don't they ever support Jaslyn? That poor girl has no one supporting her.

Too bad he lost. But if I remember correctly he hasn't really done well leading up to US Open the past 2 years. I think in 2000 he had reached first rnd in toronto and a 2nd rnd in Cincy. And last year he got to the 2nd rnd in toronto, and the semis in Cincy. And both times he did extremely well at the US Open. (Semis of singles and won doubles with Mirnyi in 2000 and of course won singles last year. ) So I'm not worried at all. He'll peak at the US Open like he has in the past. That's what matters the most right?

Go Lleyton and Kim!
