Juju at the Masters

What do you all expect from LA?

I really hope Justine gets a nice draw..no Linds in first round please . With a good draw she should be able to get to the semi's.

Does anyone know what round she has to get to to become number 3 of the world?

Well Justine would have to win the tournament and Jen would have to lose in first round AND Justine would have to beat Serena or/and Venus to get to the third spot. Sounds impossible, but you never know with our little JuJu

And a Davenport in 1st round could be good, actually! She'll be extra motivated to beat her (remember the Zürich-incidence) and she'll be warmed up for her next opponent (which could then be Kim, Daniela, Jelena, Monica or an upsetter). When JuJu gets an impossible draw, she does fine.

The draw is known!!! Justine encounters Elena Dementieva in the first round. Hard but do-able. After that Kim or Chanda awaits. No Belgian SF or final . But Justine won their previous encounter, so why not this one???

The full draw (Monica's the unlucky one who got Lindsay, then Venus or Patty awaits).

[USA/1] Serena Williams vs. Anna Smashnova [ISR/14]
[RUS/9] Anastasia Myskina vs. Jelena Dokic [YUG/8]

[SVK/7] Daniela Hantuchova vs. Magdalena Maleeva [BUL/15]
[ITA/11] Silvia Farina Elia vs. Jennifer Capriati [USA/3]

[BEL/4] Justine Henin vs. Elena Dementieva [RUS/16]
[USA/12] Chanda Rubin vs. Kim Clijsters [BEL/5]

[USA/6] Monica Seles vs. Lindsay Davenport [USA/10]
[SUI/13] Patty Schnyder vs. Venus Williams [USA/2]

I'm not sure if we get Kim-Zuzu in Round 2 becaus Chanda is not an easy opponent for Kim! Elena is also hard but i think that Zuzu can handle her, in 2 sets

C'mon Zuzu kick some asses in LA!!!

Yes, it's a pretty easy first round but not the second of course.
But all the good luck to Justine. Hit aces and kick Kim out of the court You can beat Kim everywhere.(although on hard court is difficult and Kim is playing well recently) I guess the commentator will say:"oh, how good is Kim..." I hate it.

Allez JuJu

Beat Kim for me too. Not for Kim though, but I wonder how the Flemmish press will react. Now the only seem to show and say something about the Australian Open and Sydney (Kim even thought they played once this year in Sydney ). No mentioning of JuJu crushing Kim in the Rome Open
