Yeah, it's true, it was even a story on the official website, I don't think she's half Slovenian, but partly for sure.
She played doubles with Muller in 2006, I've seen them lose to someone, can't remember who.

Yep. She really wants to play, but there is just a little thing which makes it not 100% sure. But she is planning a little european T3-Tour there (Bad Gastein - Portoroz - Stockholm is her goal, especially P. + S. ).

Maureen's father is Slovenian, her mother is from Canada.

They lost in quarters vs. Birnerova/Loit. And she played singles qualies and lost in first round against... Hlavackova
I think she was the only non-european player who appeared in Portoroz that year

Ah yeah, I remember that doubles match now, I even took pics of Eva and Emilie afterwards and unfortunately I wasn't there for the qualies.

Anyway the entry list will be out in a few weeks and then we'll see how much the date change and the Olympics have affected this year's line up.

The official press conference, where they'll announce the players is next Thursday, 12th of June, as the commitment deadline is on Monday, the 9th.

Kirilenko,Srebotnik and Wozniacki are leading the list.

MD from Kirilenko to Craybas and two silver exempt entries Vinci and Santangelo.

qualies from Pin to Fedak.
