As chingching said, this is BY FAR the strongest EA GIII ever. Wozniacki, Kanepi, Daniilidou, Kontaveit, Eikeri, and Papamichail? WOW!
Assuming nothing changes, Estonia should go through especially since they're at home. The other spot is basically between Greece and Denmark, depending on the draw I guess. If they end up playing each other, then it will probably come down to doubles I guess. I also give Norway a chance here, I think they might surprise as they have a decent squad
Lohan out for Ireland
Armenia and Cyprus teams are pretty bad. I've never even heard of any of the Armenian girls, don't think any of them have ever played FC before. Ani probably said she wasn't going to or couldn't play so Movsisyan, Poghosyan and co. probably decided to not bother
Cyprus basically has their B team here, as Argyriou and Savva (the two best Cypriot players) went to play college tennis in the US. Disappointing that Andria Tsaggaridou isn't here either as she was on the team the previous two years. Maria Siopacha is the only one here who has played FC in the past, and she's a pretty decent player. The other girls are really young, I think they're all 14 or 15. It's just Cyprus and they weren't going to get promoted this year anyways, but it's disappointing that the team doesn't include non-Greek Cypriot girls for the third year in a row, especially since this year they have a weaker team. Knezevic, Savchenko, and Ivanushchenko should've played
Moldova would be more competitive if their girls didn't all switch to Bulgaria (there were a few of them a few years ago who switched to Bulgaria and then did nothing afterwards), and Bolsova went to Spain recently and she was probably going to be their best player EVER
As for Greece, I hope Eleni actually plays since the last two years she was initially nominated but didn't end up going. She still doesn't hold any of the national Fed Cup records on the FedCup website, but she might finally break some of them if she plays. Also glad to see Grammatikopoulou here playing for the national team for the first time, which basically tells us she doesn't plan on switching nationalities like I originally thought might happen
Also we need a stable captain. We always had this guy Kalovelonis and then in 2012 Michalopoulos became captain and then Kalovelonis took over again in 2013 only for Michalopoulos to take over again in 2014?
EDIT-Wow I wrote way too much for Group III, I take this way too seriously
