Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I

Marta doesn't play enough, I'm really not sure of what she would be able to do. Anyway there are already the Radwanska sisters for the singles, I guess the last two players selected will be there only for the doubles (+ as a substitute for the singles if necessary).

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I

Marta is going to play in Eliat, at least she commited there why can't they just chose after the tournament, who will play for Poland, I mean, she destroyed Linette twice last year and I'm sure she would do the same with Kania

Marta at least tried in WTAs and GSs
Rosolska replaces Magda officially.
And Kania showed much better doubles results last year than Marta, including winning a WTA tournament (you call tell it's fluke but it's better than Marta's nothing).
Kania and Rosolska will just play doubles.

Better ELs than an international imo.

Curious for the draw.

Hoping Netherlands will stay up.

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I

Georgia is out for sure in Group II, I think Bosnia will also go there

About winning this, I think Poland and Belarus have great chances

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I

My picks:
1-2: Belarus and Poland
3-4: Great Britain and The Netherlands
5-6: Romania and Hungary
7-8: Austria and Bulgaria
9-10 Croatia and Slovenia
11-12: Israel and Portugal
13-14: Turkey and Georgia
15-16: Luxembourg and Bosnia & Herzegovina

I really would have liked to see the Dutch finally get through but without a completely full strength team that won't happen

It's good to see how strong it is this year and it could be even stronger next year

Nettu + Lera + Sofishka + Katu + Carolsh + Miley + Lissi + Kaia + Gendra + Eva + Saara + Matti + Kenneth + Jürgen + Alex

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I

Depending on draw, Poland and Belaurs could be playing for the promotion play-off spot.

Not at the round-robin stage, but they can play in the play-off.

How so?

Winner of the poll 1 plays against the winner of the poll 3
and the winner of the poll 2 against the winner of the poll 4.

Man, that was a rule last year. Don't offend me or I am reporting you.
There was no play-off drawing.
And Belarus is in poll 1, Great Britain in poll 2, Slovenia in poll 3 and Poland in poll 4.

Re: 2013 Europe/Africa Zone I

If they place seeds 1-4 into the pools and don´t use draw, then they can´t.
