Slovenia will remain in this EA group till the time they change surfaces to clay

Except for Srebotnik and Klepac (who can't win a match anywhere), our girls can't win a match on hard courts.

GB have their strongest team in as long as I can remember! I think they are gonna at least make the play offs, I dont see any other team with 2 top 100 players? Yet alone 3 + a top 100 doubles.

Re: Europe/Africa Zone Group 1 (Febuary 2010)

^I think Romania has three
Cirstea, Dulgheru, and Olaru
And Gallovits and Niculescu are #'s 103 and 104

I think two of the following four: Great Britain, Romania, Belarus, and Switzerland will advance

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.

As for Bulgaria, I think they're here so they could have an even number of teams in each group
Look at Group 2, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Finland aren't supposed to be there and they are

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.

Several of the teams have two top-100 players (Belarus, Croatia, Hungary, Austria) while Switzerland and Romania have three top-100 players.

As for the reverse, I think two of these four will be demoted to Group II: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Latvia and Sweden.

Re: Europe/Africa Zone Group 1 (Febuary 2010)

I think Bosnia & Herzegowina plus either Bulgaria or Latvia will be relegated. In terms of promotion I'd go with Belarus (if Azarenka turns up) and Switzerland (only if both Timea and Steffi play). Otherwise Austria (with Klemenschits back in the team) and Great Britain/Romania (depending on the shape of Niculescu)..!
