Can she finally break the Eastbourne SF curse?

6th win in a row, 0+2!! Nice and easy, will help her recover more from Eastbourne.

Good start.

She'll probably play Oprandi next, who could be tricky with her drop shots.

This shouldnt be too tough... As long as she keeps her head against the moonballer.

LDL has barely won matches on grass in her career. Should be comfortable straights.

Saw LDL vs Chaky in Rosmalen, she plays well. But Marion is a real tougher opponent. I just listened Marion on fft site, she explains that on grass, she really knows what she has to do. Gameplans are really clear. She wanted to finish R1 as soon as possible in order not to have to come back day after. She has known that Krystina Pliskova was wimbledon junior 2010 champion. It means that she could have played well on grass.

Marion really had trouble in that match..........trouble staying awake:haha:

Seriously,I'd like some honest feedback here...and don't be afraid cuz I'm not gonna abandon Marion:hearts: even if she's guilty of the accusation: Has anyone heard any credible tennis voices accuse Marion of purposely distracting her opponents by moving around while they're serving??Just curious:angel:

I certainly don't believe she does it to distract her opponent, Bruce.
Nobody has ever complained to the umpire anyway.
Eurgh on so late again tomorrow

Fran said it doesnt distract her after RG semi and said players should be concentrating on themselves anyway.
She'll probably be left till tomorrow now if shes on last

Thanks to Ferg and Conor for the input: From the way you two describe things,Marion's habit is a point of contention for weak-minded nitpickers who get distracted easily...but it's NOT any violation of tennis etiquette
