Will tip my hat off to Ms.Berdych if she's willing to face the Bartoli grass-ass-kicking machine on short rest

I can't see Bally taking out Azarenka.

Re: Marion Mows Down Her Foes on Grass

34 only My god. I knew it wasnt a great year but I didnt think it was quite that bad. And we`re not even on the fast hardcourts yet... Well lets just hope Vika loses her head completely against Bally or Marion! hope I didnt jinx Marion there.

Very UN-British if you to be so flexible. You could've completely ignored mine and chosen your own replacement.Still,I'll remember this and promise to never issue anything more than a mild complaint in the future

Best of all---Marion managed to fight the MP and win the match, otherwise the thread title would've made us look pretty dumb

What a fight!

Marion had only broken Lucie's serve once before and managed to break her at the end! and saved an MP too

I did choose your suggestion

Yes 10th seed. Potentially a 3rd round encounter with Venus

Schnyder Jankovic Petrova Kvitova Schiavone

Zvonareva Kleybanova Mattek-Sands Strycova

Niculescu Lisicki Razzano Koukalova Errani Pironkova

Baltacha (RIP) Robson Watson Gent Konta and the rest of the Brits

You need to re-read more carefully;I said that you COULD have chosen your own if you had wanted to do so....and let's not get ahead of ourselves for Wimby. If Marion wants to BE the best there, then she must BEAT the best....just like she did when she defeated a former RG champion a few weeks ago on the red stuff
