great stuff! never lost belief cus shes fights so hard here. very winneable next match, she should be able to outhit MJMS. she isnt playing as well as she was last year either. 32 wins this year, how many did she win last year again?
34 only My god. I knew it wasnt a great year but I didnt think it was quite that bad. And we`re not even on the fast hardcourts yet... Well lets just hope Vika loses her head completely against Bally or Marion! hope I didnt jinx Marion there.
Wednesday OoP : Court 2 (from 11.00hrs)
1. Petra Kvitova vs. Ekaterina Makarova
2. ATP: Young vs. Seppi
3. María José Martínez Sánchez vs. Marion Bartoli
4. ATP: Rochus vs. Berlocq
Excellent, another win!!! Straight sets is nice, and yet another quarter final this year. Too bad she wont beat Vika. Im calling it now, Im such a pessimist.
Slightly bitter about Serena taking Marion's top 8 seeding from her but its to be expected I guess! At least shes gonna get Sharapova, Petra, Serena or Fran though, rather than Vika/Caro/Bepa/Na which she'd get in the 13-16 bracket.
Thursday OoP : Court 1 (from 11.00hrs)
1. ATP: Tipsarevic vs. Kukushkin (tbc)
2. Petra Kvitova vs. Agnieszka Radwanska
3. Victoria Azarenka vs. Marion Bartoli
4. ATP: Kunitsyn vs. Benneteau
5. ATP: Dimitrov/Seppi vs. [Knowle/Sa or Fleming/Hutchins]
"After last year's full-on US Open schedule, Marion Bartoli say's she plans to reduce her US Open Series from 5 tournaments to 3 this year."
Stanford and the two mandatories then. Not a bad idea, I just thank fuck that shes not playing New Haven. She wont screw herself up for NY like she did last year.
Though I don't wish any injury upon her,Vika has proven to be somewhat fragile so,if she gets nicked up a little, that might be all the opening that Marion needs
Dani is 0-10 vs. Venus, with FEW of those matches being terribly close...so,if she manages to finish this off(a BIG 'if' still),then it should give Marion plenty of hope, too
Victoria leads the H2H 0-6 and including Azarenka defeating her in the semifinals in eastbourne last year. She just needs to attack the Azarenka forehand and get the first strike.
Fuck yeah!!! I dont care how she did it, its still an amazing result! Terrific serve stats, has finally beaten her, defends her semi here, up to 34 wins, yet another semi this year!!!
Sam has just beaten Bepa in a very long match too so this just makes it all better! I really hope she can take Sam out now!
I hate that it had to be retirement but I believe she would have won anyway. Love the way she responded to being down 0-30 in the first game of the second set.
Not that I'm gonna lose a lot of sleep over it,but I hope that Vika's WD was mostly precautionary...and that she'll still play Wimbledon...and THAT's where I'd especially prefer to see the Petra v.Marion final....I'll cheer for Marion mostly because she's not as young as my newest Czech gf
Friday OoP : Centre Court (from 11.30hrs)

2. Samantha Stosur vs. Marion Bartoli

4. ATP: Nishikori vs. Tipsarevic
5. ATP: Dimitrov/Seppi vs. Erlich/Ram
