Re: From green to red clay

So laughable. Seriously, I would think it would be a brilliant idea just to skip clay altogether next year and concentrate on the summer grass and hard tournaments. She is just useless on the stuff, no point humiliating herself like this.

Re: From green to red clay

Her game is useless on clay. The last few results are not suprising.

Schnyder Jankovic Petrova Kvitova Schiavone

Zvonareva Kleybanova Mattek-Sands Strycova

Niculescu Lisicki Razzano Koukalova Errani Pironkova

Baltacha (RIP) Robson Watson Gent Konta and the rest of the Brits

Or she could just play the small clay events like in 07, but I think she is too proud for that.

Re: From green to red clay

To offer some perspective,Serena realized that she had to win RG to be considered an all-time great...and she won it once and was cheated out of a second one the following year.Sharapova often looks VERY awkward on clay...even NOW...yet she has reached a RG semifinal.Marion owes it to herself to at least become halfway-competent on that surface

Congrats on Number Three, Kim! We need more of you in this world

Don't be scared to open the door, Serena. It's not the Land Shark, it's only the doping agency

Re: From green to red clay

Really an easy draw, if she cannot make it to the QF, she should just not show up in RG Allez, no pressure on her after Aravane's week in Madrid!

Do you mean quit during the match or give up tennis altogether??...And what prompts you to say that??

Well, she literally might NOT play at this tournament if it doesn't stop raining in f--king Warsaw.Apparently,it's common to have a rainy spell in that part of Poland this time of year.....Great planning, folks

I really don't have much antipathy for Zako...it's hard to hate a cute elf, even when she has a bad blonde dye job...but she DID prematurely end Dinara's last tourney,so I won't mind if Marion kicks her ass
