Re: Marion in Melbourne

Draw looks like exactly what she expected :
- Warm up R1 and R2
- No justine

With a goal : at least to reach Qf.

Concerning hot weather, she has been in Melbourne since January 3rd in order to be ready. And after AO, she will go directly to Dubaď. "Always the sun", remember The Stranglers.

Re: Marion in Melbourne

I just hope those decisions wont result in putting too much pressure on herself. Marion will be fully dedicated to tennis this season.
This is a great effort and I understand that she feels she has to give everything on Slams now. But there is no need to go to Dubaď so early :/ She has to take care of not burning herself out mentally.

Well, if you compare Marion to Serena, you can notice who's taking tennis seriously and who's not

One quote in her interview is very important :
"Tout cela est réfléchi, j'apprends de mes erreurs".

She has so many points to take in IW and Miami. Beyond Dubaď, IW and Miami are her main goals.

Well,Marionettes,I've vowed to kiss the mayor's wife on the lips if Marion wins the AO.......but don't bother saving up any bail money for me b/c this sort of offense often leads to 'unofficial' capital punishment in Mexico, anyway

Btw,I'm STILL looking for Marion's match last year v. Zvonareva if anyone knows where to get it(in its entirety),but I'll be satisfied, for now, with Marion's best effort in Melbourne

Actually,Lighter,I'd prefer to see the WHOLE match b/c that's where the human drama is---in watching Marion come back from so far down

actually i think it will work in her favour. tommorow's conditions will be much more favourable, and still only 23 degrees so not too hot.
