this is the problem with clay, a flat serve isn't as effective as it is on other surfaces.

Amen to many of the comments above;I've seen some comments by some Elena fans that Marion really pushed her hard today.Even Lena herself indicated that Marion forced her to raise her level of play.In my heart,I'm sure that Marion would've smashed Morigami and won that clay title in 2007 had she not been injured.I'm content to see Marion's best efforts on this surface as she soldiers on through the clay season
