So it's pretty much confirmed that Simona, Sori, Monica and Irina will attend.

If you say so . I still say that this is just TV "marketing" and Sorana will NOT attend !

It will be funny if they will say she Withdrew at some point (though, she never signed up) . It's like the times Dolce Sport said they will broadcast Simona's match , although it was on a non-TV court and it was impossible to do that.

Anyway, time will tell.

They could have included Cadantu, indeed. But Dulgheru, when the EL was published was ALT #10 and she wasn't announced for a WC yet.

I'm with you on this and even if she does attend, there is no way she will stay longer than R2.

Logical will be if the injuried is serios to skip Wimbledon too, for not jeopardy her hard season. She knows better what to do. Speedy recovery!

You don't miss a Slam Payday unless you're in a hospital bed or something

At least the ProSport article I read was only talking about her 'not playing' instead of 'withdrawing'.

But it was to be expected to see a public announcement about her not participating.

There are so many bye's in the main draw that I still wouldn't rule out her chances to defend her R2 points from last year.
