Personally
* Alexandra started playing tennis when she was 4 years old * Her father, Alexandru, got her on the tennis court for first time * Short right kick is her preffered shot * She likes playing offensive on court * As personal interests are swimming and listening to music
Truth be told, she couldn't have hoped for a better draw, but I'm more than certain that she'll be out in the first two rounds. Pressure off or on
Ah, thanks. They have both MD (i.e Dulgheru-Arruabarrena and Putinseva-Beyglezimer) and qualies scheduled tomorrow and the starting order got me all konfuzed since it didn't specify what's what. This makes more sense, tho .
I'm now following this game of tennis in all its depth on the professional tour for about 7 years and I see a lot of players come and go.
Having a dip of form or a bad streak of matches is something every athelete will have to go through, but whenever that happens all of a sudden, without any apparent reason and accompanied with serious amounts of choking that defy any reason, something is usually very wrong.
Alexandra should take a break and recover from whatever her problems are (I guess it's physical in her case) because playing through is usually making it even worse. I have seen a good amount of Cepede Royg this year and I don't think any Top 100 player could only win a total of 4 games against her (and getting broken in 8/9 service games) even if she would blatantly tank. Not anyone with a gamestyle comparable to Alexandra.
