Are you from South Carolina? I heard it's pretty nice there.
Is Sorana going to be there? I am not sure you are a fan of all the Romanians but if you are perhaps you get to see her.
I moved from Cali to Connecticut and although I miss IW so bad I can't wait for the New Haven Open in August and hope I get to go to the first round at US Open when tickets are more affordable.
Wozniacki has magnificent shotmaking if you ask me, but it's not the power kind of one. She has to rely on all court tactics to make effective her sweet topspin mix, while still able to hit pretty decent winners when she feels them, especially with the backhand. Despite not making many winners, she's still an agressive baseliner, and she doesn't only win matches by waiting the opponent's mistake, though she can do that at times also.
Still struggling with injuries is definitely not encouraging. That said, I'd much rather see her withdraw and focus on PT/resting instead of struggling through the first two rounds only to be forced into handing a walkover midway through a match.
I saw that a while back, but it's definitely worth a second look. Her Spanish is really, really good & she is one of the best players to interview. Well-thought-out answers to everything, but still spontaneous enough. Fingers crossed she'll eventually be healthy enough to start playing close to 100% again.
