She can get 6 points as a Q2. For R16 at 25K she would get 8 while playing inferior opponents.
I wanted to say that it's the WTA doubles that attract her most.
She might win one match at WTA qualis drawing a WC like here, but that's about as far as she can get right now. It would certainly pay off more for her to play on the ITF for a couple of weeks where she can actually go far and get some confidence back.
Traveling to Uzbekistan and South Korea shows that money seems to be not the issue right now, but you don't even see her playing those usually weaker events in Russia where your classical journeywoman would get some cheap points. Once her ranking points will drop off at the end of the year from the South American swing 2012, then she won't even get into these anymore and will have to decide if she is really becoming a doubles specialist as she hinted to in her interviews.
