Anastasia Myskina

Nastya earns POTW for reaching the semis in Eastbourne and reclaiming the top ranking, and she now has 3 aces to use this week

Ivanovic * Kvitova * Serena

Re: S6 - 12: The Championships, Wimbledon (GS)

Preview

Odds On

Tammy is the clear favourite without question, her form has been improving all season and she has peaked on her best surface. She suffered an upset last week, but she is the favourite against virtually every other player. Dementieva took advantage of Tanasugarn's loss last week to win Eastbourne, and also has a final in Rosmalen under her belt, and she too appears to be in a league of her own on the grass, finally Watson has also been one of the standout players on this surface, she has fallen short at all three lead-up events, but Wimbledon could be her moment to shine.

Solid Bets

Azarenka has been one of the most impressive newcomers on the tour lately and she is the only player to defeat Tanasugarn on grass, so she certainly possesses the weapons to claim the coveted crown. Myskina has reclaimed the #1 ranking, and remains a consistent threat on all surfaces, she'll need some luck to come out on top, but she should make the latter stages given her recent form, lastly we have the iconic legend that is MK, she has been quiet of late but she has the aces to do some damage, if only she wasn't so cursed when it comes to the Slams

Outside Chance

The last quarter is toughest followed by first.

Who needs preview?

Yari Shvedova will lose in SF, Molik lose in final and Dementieva take the title.
